With unrivalled ease of access to the die for product or blade changes, the castor mounted Extrusion-Link cutter unit utilises a cruciform drive. This decouples easily leaving the cutter head still mounted on the die face. This allows blades to be accurately aligned on the die face for optimum cutting consistency and prevents operators from making unexpected adjustments. The cutting head is designed to give you the flexibility to increase or decrease the number of blades depending on the product and output requirements. The spring steel flexi-blades are a low cost, replaceable wear item, making sure you have a perfect cut every time.

Safety interlocked, to comply with latest safety standards and easy to clean, the unit is safe and hygienic to operate. It can be totally disconnected and removed to be jet washed for ultimate hygiene.

With a large internal volume, product deformation is eliminated and upward or downward discharge adds flexibility during start-up and shutdown.

A reduced volume enclosure is available for vacuum take-off which is crucial in aquafeed production.

A sampling tray and hatch, allows operators to safely sample product at any time. This permits unrivalled opportunities for online product quality assurance.

Our cutter is suitable for any type of extruder and the unique design means we can accommodate any type of take-off transportation method our customers require whether it’s an elevating conveyor, pneumatic or vacuum system.
